However, you do not have to test this by going deep sea diving with your timepiece. Consider also that its age and its specifications will determine how well it can withstand these stressors.

Taking care of your timepiece will involve more than just cleaning it regularly. You also need to ensure it does not get into contact with things that can slow it down, or cause it to start losing time. These include things like magnets. Additionally, if you will be in a place with extreme temperature, it is better not to wear this item. Try to keep it away from direct sunlight as well, to avoid damaging its battery.

When you watch is not on your hand you still need to take care of it. Some expert will advise you to store it in the same box in which it came. However, if you happen to have disposed of that box, consider wrapping it in a soft cloth. If this is not an option at the time, try to ensure that the piece is not lying on its face or side.
